Birmingham stun Cardiff

Birmingham City, under the new management of Steve Cotterill, moved out of the Championship relegation zone with an impressive 1-0 home win over the league leaders, Cardiff City.  An obviously fired-up Birmingham clinched a much-needed victory as a result of a fine individual first-half goal from Che Adams to give them optimism for the future. Cotterill, in his first game in charge, was obviously delighted…See More

Brace yourselves for a roaring climax in Cardiff. This victory means the Republic of Ireland will travel to Wales knowing that, if either side wins Monday’s feverishly anticipated Celtic duel, it will be certain of finishing in second place, at least, in Group D. Greg Clarke got his handshake from Eni Aluko in the end. After a devastating four‑hour parliamentary hearing that fully illuminated the Football Association’s shambolic handling of her allegations of discrimination, it was a confused gesture of goodwill. “I want to meet with you properly,” he said. “Don’t worry, I’m not going to try anything, it’ll all be above board.” Adidas NHL Youth Neal Broten Green Home Authentic Jersey - #7 Dallas Stars That the chairman…

Harry Kane relishes Real Madrid

Posted on October 19, 2017 at 2:28am 0 Comments

A backheel at the Bernabéu. That is quite a baptism or it would have been if, as most of this stadium first thought, it had actually happened. The replay told a different story but it was Harry Kane the Tottenham Hotspur players ran towards as the ball settled in Keylor Navas’s net, giving them the lead just before the half-hour. The problem was that at the end of the game it was also Kane they sought out, Hugo Lloris putting an arm round his shoulder and walking him to the touchline.…
