To provide your body with the stimulus to grow taller, you will have to perform certain specific exercises. Some of these exercises include hanging, sprinting (preferably with ankle weights), hanging upside down, etc. Besides these, certain yoga exercises are also very effective at making you grow taller.
Yoga incorporates a number of stretching exercises that strengthen and elongate bones, while making your body more agile and flexible. One of the most basic postures - the tadasan - performed for 15 minutes daily, will result in growth over an extended period of time (at least 2-3 months). This basic posture helps to elongate and straighten your bones (curved bones, especially in people with bow legs, can reduce your height), while also making them thicker and stronger. Basically, you can't really go wrong with yoga.
A basic 'Surya Namaskar' - an exercise in which you place one foot on the other leg's knee while standing straight, and stretch your hands up towards the sky, palms joined - is an excellent stretching exercise that puts stress on your entire body. Performing this exercise every morning, preferably right after you wake up, and in the sun, will not only leave you feeling great, but will also help in height increase.
