Team rookie wide receiver Curtis Samuel missed the rest of the season due to a left ankle injury in his game against the Miami Dolphins. He will undergo ankle surgery.The second-round pick was injured in an ankle after a catch-up. Team coach Ron Rivera said his injuries "did not look good."Samuel played nine games in the rookie season, including four starts, a total of 15 picks to Madden Mobile Coins finish 115 yards and an additional four draws to get 64 yards.
This was a big blow to the Panthers offense and they had originally planned to let the offense rely on more speed players. The team's trust in Samuel is one of the reasons they are willing to trade Benjamin to Buffalo Bill. The injury not only left Panthers an important player in the playoffs, but also left an outsider who was still in the learning stage to lose included study time.Russell Shepard, also a speeding receiver, is expected to replace Samuel. Kaelin Clay and Brenton Bersin may also get more chances. Also, do not be surprised if you see rookie running back Christian McCaffrey gaining more playing time at the outside receiver.
