How can aspirin be effective to your clothes?

Subscribe -

Most of us have white clothing in our closet. White colour clothes can easily complement every style and you can easily wear them at work. But some people try to avoid wearing white clothes. The sweat strains create an unpleasant yellowish colour on your white clothes. No matter you wash your clothes with hand or machine, white clothes often tend to lose their original brightness radiance. These stains do not disappear easily and the more often we wash your white clothes, it turns greyer after every wash. But you have good news. Now you can easily wear them and do not require chemicals to keep them in good condition. The pain-killer that is used the most can now be used to whiten your clothes naturally.

Why should you use aspirin?

The excellent pain-killer and anticoagulant aspirin have some of the unusual applications. You can put an aspirin in your washing machine and it replaces the use of bleach and other kind of cleansers used for removing stains. It helps your laundry remain white even after washing. Aspirin contains an organic compound called as salicylic acid. This helps it to penetrate deep into the fabric and remove stains, thereby keeping them new. You can remove the annoying sweat stains that appear on your t-shirt.

Techniques of using aspirin:

All you need is 2 gallons of hot water and five 300 mg aspirin tablets. To start with, melt those 5 tablets in hot water. In order to make the melting process easier, crush the pills before throwing them into the hot water. After the mixture is ready, soak all of your white laundries in the mixture. Leave it overnight or for at least eight hours. The next morning, take your clothes out and move them into your washing machine. Before turning on the laundry cycle, you can add a few more aspirin pills.

If you want to increase the effect, take two or three aspirin pills and mix them with enough water. This forms a thick paste. Use this thick paste to rub on the stains. Leave it for several minutes and then rinse it off with water. The salicylic acid content in aspirin pills is similar to vinegar, boric acid and lemon juice. They all work in the same way and produce same results.
